There's nothing particularly wrong with my most recent attempt at 3d fluoddity. It just doesn't spark joy. Really hard to tell if the problem is that I haven't found the right parameters or shit's just boring. Seen here with horrible compression in 1-sample mode in my insane-overkill path tracer
